My first trip to Aspen was unforgettable, a place that truly captured my heart and soul. From the moment I arrived at the quaint airport, with its picturesque mountain views and warm atmosphere, I felt a thrill of excitement and adventure. Naturally, we both overpacked and ended up wearing our cowboy hats stacked on our heads for the flight there and back—one for each outfit color, ha! The experience only improved when my best friend and I checked into the prestigious St. Regis, a luxurious hotel where we were treated like royalty throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally attentive, fulfilling every need and granting every wish, which made our experience feel even more special.

During our time in Aspen, we had the pleasure of dining at many wonderful restaurants. The St. Regis offered complimentary car service in a black SUV to anywhere we wished to go downtown. Each meal was an experience in itself, but one particular place stood out above the rest: Steakhouse No. 316. This exquisite establishment has a rich history, with walls adorned by photographs of many presidents who have graced its tables, dating all the way back to JFK. The ambiance was nothing short of enchanting, with plush red velvet walls and matching sumptuous seating that created an elegant and intimate atmosphere. The food was amazing, featuring perfectly cooked steaks and a variety of delectable sides that made our dining experience unforgettable.

Although I was just coming off a major wrist bone break, which limited my ability to fully embrace the mountain activities, I still managed to enjoy the beauty of Aspen. I ventured onto the mountain a few times, participating in activities like snowmobiling and light skiing, which allowed me to soak in the breathtaking scenery without overexerting myself. The crisp mountain air and stunning views were invigorating, and I cherished every moment spent in the great outdoors. However, I made up for my limited daytime activities with vibrant nights at the St. Regis's private courtyard know as "the snow lodge". The snow lodge was a magical place where DJs would come to entertain guests, transforming the courtyard into a lively celebration against the backdrop of the snowy mountains. The energy was infectious, and it was impossible not to get swept up in the festive atmosphere.

The entire experience was so magical that I can hardly wait to return to Aspen. The combination of luxurious accommodations, exquisite dining, and exhilarating activities made for an unforgettable trip that I will cherish for years to come. I am already dreaming of my next adventure in this beautiful mountain town, eager to explore more of what it has to offer.
