Supporting the @arthritisfoundation at a local event in the OC today! Did you know 300,000 kids in America and 1 in 4 people have arthritis?Carson (standing with me in the first photo) was diagnosed with arthritis - Juvenile Ankylosing Spondylitis at the young age of 15. His doctor told him he had the spine of a retired NFL center linebacker. He had trouble getting out of bed in the morning just to go to school. He is now 21 and a courageous young man. I was touched by his speech today and felt compelled to share it with you. “The Great Crush” charity took place at one of my favorite restaurants @thewineryrestaurant swipe right 👉🏻 for more pics and videos. It was an amazing turn out with well over 200 guests, auctions and wine tasting with magical views of the harbor! 💙 I met a couple of retired NFL players named Lance Zeno (Green Bay Packers) and Christian Okoye (Kansas City Chiefs) who continue to give back with their time supporting many charities such as this one. May we continue progressing in science to beat this painful disease.
