Feelin' peachy! I hope you all are staying healthy and as positive as you can be during this unprecedented time in our lives. I'm fortunate to live in a city where there are pockets of places that I can visit which allows social distancing. Below me on the docks today, I saw 3 fishermen 6 feet apart but still able to talk and feel each others presence. I waved to them as I set up my tripod for blogging. Seeing them reminded me of going fishing with my dad as a little girl. Such a special memory to have! I remember at just 6 years ild old, fishing one day, I told him I saw a dress in a magazine that I wanted. He said "If you want that dress, small fry, you are going to have to earn it becasue money doesn’t grow on trees!”. He set up a chore list of things to do around the house with my mom (vaccuming, dusting, dishes, laundry, cooking etc) . Each week I received $5. In a couple months time, I manage to raise enough to buy that dress! What did that instill in me? a.) How to take care and clean up after myself b.) How to save money c.) The value of a dollar. d.) How to appreciate what I have. I'm thankful to be raised by a cowboy! Ha!! This dress is super cute and fits well. I love the exaggerated ruffle sleeves on it. Its just $17 and I found it at #shein
